1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.
2.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of the Sheffield Alcohol Research Group.
3.1 The Committee received evidence from a representative of the Institute of Economic Affairs.
3.2 Chris Snowdon agreed to share with the Committee evidence-based studies which relate to the potential unintended consequences resulting from the introduction of minimum unit price for alcohol, and known addiction pathways.
4.1a The Committee noted the letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Finance to the Chair of the Finance Committee.
4.2a The Committee noted the response from the Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Transport regarding the Welsh Government Draft Budget 2018-19.
4.3a The Committee noted the letter from the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance regarding the Common UK policy frameworks "deep dive" exercises.
4.4a The Committee noted the letter from Professor Jon Nelson in relation to the Public Health (Minimum Price for Alcohol) (Wales) Bill.
5.1 The Committee agreed the motion.
6.1 The Committee considered the evidence given during items 2 and 3 of the meeting.
7.1 The Committee agreed the report subject to minor amendments.
7.2 The Committee noted that the report would be laid before the Assembly on 1 December.
